Good mom

The other day we were talking about favorite movies, and of course we start talking about the kids favorites when they were babies. I realize that most of Zay’s favorites weren’t the typical kids movies like his sister’s. Ella’s from a young age was Finding Dory, we literally watched it over, and over. Emmie’s right now is Toy Story 3, she watches it like she’s never seen it before time, and time again.
Zay’s though they were super inappropriate. Examples number 1 and 2: He LOVED watching The Other Guys, and Pineapple Express as a toddler lmfao. I’m thinking like what the f*ck kind of parent am I to have let him watch those movies? I mean obviously I know I’m a good mom because Zay is a really good kid at his age, but what the hell was I thinking?
You guys don’t understand the extent of which he used to watch these damn movies. (The more I tell you the more I reconsider my parenting LOL) He would watch them to go to bed as if they were comforting sleepy time movies. It really explains his dry sense of humor now though. Thank you Seth, James, Will, and Mark. We’re allowed to be on a first name basis okay!? They practically helped me raise him. I AM a good mom I swear. 😂
Isaiah was and is always a deep thinker…I remember wondering why he loved watching all the documentaries about trucks, tractors, buses and sharks. He such a smarty pants…but definitely takes the prize for smartassery…🤣🤣🤣

My sons favorite movie is The Cat In The Hat which has a whole lot of adult humor/sarcasm! I question myself as to why I allow him to watch it once a day… but he enjoys it and it makes him laugh so I’m good with it 🤷🏻♀️
